Christians United for Israel brought Holocaust Survivor Irving Roth to Spokane to speak at Covenant Church on September 15th. Every seat was taken and guests even sat in overflow rooms to watch Roth tell his most unusual story.

C.U.F.I. has been to Spokane before but had a very tepid response. So this crowd of enthusiastic supporters of Israel was exciting to see and much thanks goes to Pastor Ken Peters for his brave stand in a city that tolerates a Boycott Israel hate sign without city hall or community protest.

There is much work to be done in eastern Washington and northern Idaho to fight back against hostile narratives towards Israel. Our country is experiencing epidemic antisemitism and anti Christian narratives on college campuses with a hostile Boycott Divest and Sanctions movement (BDS) that has intersected into other radical social justice agendas.
