Spokane Human Rights Commission Globally Compassionate

Spokane could be adopting Karen Armstrong’s Global Charter for Compassion!

The historically compassionate city of Spokane has a Global movement going on in it’s own back yard. Could it be  Karen Armstrong‘s “Charter for Compassion”?
Much Bigger International Global Compassion, the “Think Globally Act Locally” kind mixed in with what Spokanites normally already do but could feel even better than good about and maybe get a participation T-shirt or arm bracelet and even compete with other cities and support a pseudo religious social justice agenda. Cool.

“We believe that a compassionate world is a peaceful world.” (charter)

It appears like the activists on the Spokane Human Rights Commission are working with the City to adopt the global charter.

Karen Armstrong peddles her TED promoted Box Store of Compassion all over the world and she has some pretty big names behind her, like the Dalai Lama. When you read the charter you might get a little fuzzy headed because it’s fuzzy headed social justice propaganda wrapped up in religious prattling jibber. You could also experience the Michael Jackson song ringing in your ears, “We are the World”. Karen teaches the Golden Rule or a modified golden rule to a plugged in flock. She is a religious expert and wants the world to be filled with Compassionate Cities. Seattle was the first Compassionate City and others like Ann Arbor Michigan are jumping on board much to the disgust of a Democrat blogger. Read her great insights here. Maybe other cities like Ritzville or Colville could apply for consideration at Compassionate Cities .Org

S.P.I. is not Compassion-phobic. (Example) We have compassion for the victims of the Christian Genocide in the Middle East. We have compassion for the little Yazidi girls who are brutally raped. We don’t market T-shirts.

What’s not to like about the Golden Rule? KXLY reports in 2014 that Spokane wants to compete with Compassionate Cities like Louisville Kentucky

Louisville has compassionate taxpayers and unfortunately an out of control crime problem.

Armstrong: The Big Key Player of the Global Compassion Movement

“Islam is a religion of success. Unlike Christianity, which has as its main image, in the west at least, a man dying in a devastating, disgraceful, helpless death. The cross, crucified, and that turned into victory.

Mohammad was not an apparent failure. He was a dazzling success, politically as well as spiritually, and Islam went from strength to strength to strength.” Quotes Karen, More Background Here

Does Spokane Need This? Or do they already possess the Politically Correct amount of Compassion? The kind that has been traditionally handed down from it’s elders? This is a great city of very giving people. Is this just another “Think Globally Act Locally” Seattle Feel Good Agenda pushed by Social Justice Activists? Or is it the greatest charter on Earth?

Who in the world is Karen Armstrong? Is Spokane adopting her program? EWU supports it. Call City Hall for details.

We way missed out on this, but on September 11th 2014 there were Compassion Games played here in Spokane. Didn’t attend this year either on September 11th.

UPDATE: This was published prior to learning of the tragic terrorist attack in France. The victims of these Savages could use some real Compassion. Keep the french victims in your thoughts and prayers.
